TikTok is a very interesting platform as it is different than the other social media out there. Highly entertaining, entirely shareable, collaborative and engaging. These are the main quality of this not so new platform.
TikTok Stats You Definitely Need to Know
TikTok is one of the fastest growing social media platforms in the world. Which on its own makes it an App not to be ignored. Furthermore, it made its way into the top-ten list of the most downloaded apps of the past decade, ranking seventh. Even apps like YouTube and Twitter which have been around for much longer – and that I’m sure you know – have not done better.
TikTok you don’t stop! No, you don’t. Even if Generation Z is still the biggest part of its audience, adults and businesses are joining at a rapid paste. Enough so, that there are currently more than 500 million daily users. And almost all of them (90%) are opening their app at least once day for almost an hour.
Should Brand Pay Attention to TikTok?
Definitely! Not only that, if your audience are teenagers and young adults, but even if you’re targeting other demographic, because teens tend to be ahead of the curve to know what’s cool before it’s cool!
There are already several success stories for brands on TikTok, and a lot of them are already there. If you don’t want to miss the boat, you should jump on it before all the big names – and your competitions – are there. Not only can you advertise on TikTok. But you can make it fun for your audience by using branded challenges and branded hashtags. There are lots of ways you can use TikTok to promote your business.
